Dean of Students
Be Responsible, Stay Informed
UCR students are an influential part of our thriving campus community. How our students conduct their behavior and actions in classrooms, residence halls, and social settings, as well as in the greater community creates effects that ripple throughout our university.
All students should read over and be sure they understand the Standards of Conduct, which applies to all UC students, as well as the Academic Integrity Policies and Procedures. The office of the AVC/Dean of Students helps to enforce these codes and clarify their purpose for students, staff and faculty.
In addition, students should familiarize themselves with policies that may apply to their unique circumstances. Many areas of the university have created policies to support, protect and empower students. For more information, please visit the VCSA Policies website https://studentaffairs.ucr.edu/policies and the Free Speech Website https://freespeech.ucr.edu/ to learn more about your rights and responsibilities.
