R.E.A.C.H.


What is R.E.A.C.H.?


R.E.A.C.H. (Reaching for Education, Affirmation, Community and Harmony) is a volunteer peer education program established in October of 2005. The program is designed and implemented by UCR students for the UCR community. The R.E.A.C.H. volunteers program and mentor on topics of sexual violence/violation, suicide awareness, academic integrity, hazing, and hate bias related incidents/crimes.  

How can UCR students R.E.A.C.H.?

The R.E.A.C.H. peer educators receive training on the topics of sexual violence/violation, suicide awareness, academic integrity, hazing, and hate bias related incidents/crimes. In addition to their topic-related trainings, the R.E.A.C.H. peer educators meet weekly with their advisor to discuss campus climate needs and responsive programming. Examples of R.E.A.C.H. events are “UCR Stop the Hate” week and “Take Back the Night.”
