"Not in R' House" - Hate/Bias Response Team

Working Towards a Safe and Hate-Free Campus Community

The UCR Hate/Bias Response Team provides support for victims of hate incidents and hate crimes; creates policies and procedures for reporting and responding to incidents; educates the campus community regarding bias-motivated incidents and crimes; and develops resources for creating a safe and hate-free campus community.

A hate crime is any criminal act in which biased motive is a clear contributing factor. A hate incident is any act, including conduct, speech, or expression, in which biased motive is a clear contributing factor. Hate incidents do not have to include a criminal act.
