  • Part 1: Hateful words don’t belong in R’ House.
Explore how you define yourself and your community and the role that language has in stopping hate.
  • Part 2: R’ House does not have room for hate crimes and hate incidents.
“Hate/Bias 101” workshop covers definitions and scenarios related to hate crimes and hate incidents.
  • Part 3: When Hate sneaks in the window or breaks down a door.
Hateful graffiti, hate speakers, confrontations motivated by hate… What is our natural response when we witness or are victimized by hate incidents or hate crimes? How can we report what happened to the University? Where can we get more help? How can we respond with community building? Join other UCR students and members of the Hate/Bias Response Team for an interactive workshop on responding to hate.
