Hate/Bias Response Team History
The HBRT convened in Summer 2006 to develop a Hate/Bias Incident Report Form and protocols for responding to incidents and crimes motivated by hate or bias. The scope of the HBRT has evolved as we are Working Towards a Safe and Hate-Free Campus Community.

The UCR Hate/Bias Response Team:
  • provides support for victims of hate incidents and hate crimes
  • creates policies and procedures for reporting and responding to incidents
  • educates the campus community regarding bias-motivated incidents and crimes
  • develops resources for creating a safe and hate-free campus community
