The DOS/AVC  offices utilizes this site to promote student volunteerism and recognize the important role community service has in the development of our UCR students. In addition to the tremendous community benefits, student initiated community service and volunteerism promotes social justice and allows students to engage in meaningful problem solving, gain valuable work experience, foster civic responsibility and enhance their educational experience by applying academic theory into practice.
